The Role

The L&D Specialist will be part of a core learning team and the extended learning ecosystem@kotsovolos, which is responsible for the development of talent, core capabilities building, skilling and reskilling as required. He/she will be working with relevant techniques, methodologies, tools, technologies and stakeholders to identify & accurately analyze learning and development needs, translate business strategy into training needs, develop and deliver effectively and on time L&D solutions, establish, monitor and report on the effectiveness and impact of the L&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the full learning cycle as required (training needs analyses, content & methodology development and testing, solution delivery and evaluation)
  • Applies appropriate learning methods based on sound learning theories and evidence-informed design methodologies
  • Liaises and collaborates with SMEs and key stakeholders for the development and update of learning content and material in various formats, using solid learning design principles; sources and curates learning content according to specific needs
  • Participates in the design, supports, monitors and reports on Development Journeys and Capabilities_Academies@Kotsovolos, and administers their operation
  • Delivers or co-facilitates training sessions both in-person and virtually
  • Designs, tailors, coordinates and reports on the onboarding process of new hires and transition programs
  • Participates in the design of Individual Development Plans, monitors, supports and evaluates their implementation and effectiveness
  • Participates as assessor in the full cycle of assessment and development centers (report writing and feedback delivery)
  • Administers, feeds and works through the LMS, LXP and content providers Kotsovolos partners with
  • Widely scans the environment to keep up and bring in the latest research, practices, technology and external partners in the L&D field, and translates them into workable practices within the organization’s context

The ideal candidate should have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business or other related field. 
  • Master’s degree will be considered an asset
  • 3+ years of proven experience in ΟD, L&D or Recruiting dpt in a fast paced environment (i.e. Retail, Services, Consulting etc.)
  • Experience in instructional design and delivery
  • Knowledge and ability to work with learning authoring tools (i.e. Storyline 360, Rise 360, Vyond etc)
  • Solid grasp of learning technologies
  • Solid command of English language
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Digital Savvy
  • Strong Interpersonal and Influencing Skills
  • Excellent Presentation and Communication skills
  • Creativity and Innovation
  • Strong Planning and Organizing skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively, in a very fast-paced, diverse environment
