The Role

We are looking for a Modern Workplace Manager who will be responsible to lead a team of IT engineers supporting, transforming and evolving a modern environment of digital and physical space. He/she is accountable to ensure the efficiency and the satisfaction of the high-end client-side technology experience of all company’s customers and users. His/hers responsibility covers the modern digital technology ERA from the digital experiences in stores to the IoT efficiencies in warehouses and from the digital workplace to the modernized on-premise high-end equipment. Furthermore, he/she is responsible to redesign workplace for new digital generation, providing freedom of movement, escaping on-premise restrictions, ensuring collaboration and sharing. Moreover, he/she is responsible for overseeing and support the daily operations of the assigned frontline team(s). The role requires an IT manager with highly qualified innovation skills and obsession in customer experience excellence.


Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support the effective provision of digital services to store, warehouses, office equipment, etc
  • Coach the team to take full advantage of Microsoft 365 essentials toolkit and encourage high efficiency collaboration and sharing using technology
  • Provide technical guidance on executing company’s adoption on cloud technology
  • Support the high-end devices and equipment in stores, warehouses and workplaces of company’s external and internal customers
  • Maintain the access control management and identity governance
  • Manage the software licenses lifecycle
  • Work agile with other company’s teams in order to define and maintain Service Level Objectives and ITSM processes
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all incidents. Completing all operational tasks and ad-hoc requests in a timely manner, ensuring the quality of the results
  • Communicate with suppliers and external partners, in order to supervise their actions and monitor their effectiveness
  • Coach the team to perform business led problem management by identifying problems and work on their RCA identification
  • Monitor, control and forecast operational expenses on budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period. Suggest spending improvements


The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience managing an engineering team on projects with technical deep-dives into code, networking, operating systems and/or storage
  • Experience applying modern software engineering best practices to the management of hybrid workplace tools and platforms
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a technology management position(s) will be considered as additional competitive advantage
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred
